Assistant Manager 23-26k per annum - Gastro Pub - Rural Location (Surrey)

This is a exceptional venue well known for both its excellent food and service. The property offers excellent reviews along with an established reputation which attracts foodies and locals coming to the area for a fresh, well thought out meal or drinks service. We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor with food led experience.

Your role will be to manage & run the operation which includes both bar and restaurant service as well as managing staff operationally and behind the scenes on an administrative basis.

We are looking for someone who can run a service to include the warmest of welcomes, and the add to the ambiance of the venue with their service skills.

Your role will include overall supervision of the front of house team to include reconciliation as well as responsibility for ensuring the level of service to guests. You'll also need to make sure staff have the required tools to do their jobs from stock to uniform, helping train, develop and motivate them. No two days will be the same but your warm service and operational skills will ensure that the already well established reputation for excellence maintains. 

The ideal person will have a good understanding of wine, beverage and cellar management

Exceptional organisational skills

Experience in terms of organising staff rotas, training, developing and motivating.

Operational Supervision of Service (Front of House and Kitchen)

Experience working in a busy venue but who can ensure every visitor feels special.
