Hotel Duty Manager £22k - £25k (Mandarin Speaking)
An exciting Duty Manager opportunity has arisen in one of the UK's premier hotels. This venue require a driven professional who has been trained and operates at the highest international level. As a champion of the guest experience, an experience as individual as the hospitality skills you have to offer.
This role includes superb private, en-suite accommodation set in some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK and would be suited for a couple if the partner is either kitchen, housekeeping or F&B based.
This position would suite a high energy individual with superb guest care skills who might be looking for either their first management position, or their first management position.
Brief Job Description
Front of House
Training of staff and management on concierge service.
Training and control of day and night porter.
Training and control of afternoon tea service.
Training and control of guest rooming, arrivals & departures for porters and managers.
Support to Housekeeping Manager in regards to general appearance of the house – cleanliness, flowers, books etc.
Produce on a weekly basis the list of return guests with likes/dislikes for the next week for each department head and GM.
Support during each service.
Run of the dining room & service in absence of the manager in charge
Forward planning (i.e. table plans/ events) together with F&B Duty Manager and in their absence taking control.

Recommendation for walks and journey planner for guest
Tours and visit guest proposition
The salary for the successful candidate is dependent on experience and also relates to a subsidised live in position.
